Sha Tin Junior School was established in 1988 by the English Schools Foundation and accepts students from ages 5 to 11. The school\'s programme is based on the Primary Years Programme of IBO. Its mission is to provide a secure and happy environment in which children can develop their academic, social and physical potential to the fullest. The school places great importance on respect and equality amongst all groups. It encourages children to develop a positive attitude towards all aspects of their lives including their physical health, mental well-being, self-esteem and spiritual awareness.

沙田小学(Sha Tin Junior School)是英基学校协会属下学校。沙田小学与英基属下的沙田学院共享校园。校舍提供优质设施,包括游泳池,运动场,体育馆及图书馆。学校提供学额900个学位,学生来自多个不同国家。沙田小学获国际文凭组织授权开办小学课程,学生修读的是探究为本课程。沙田小学的教职员是一支既专业且对工作充满热诚的团队。同时,沙田小学开设学习支持班,为有中度学习困难的学童提供所需设施。英基小学和幼儿园均采用国际文凭组织小学课程 (PYP),此课程专为3至12岁的学生而设,专注学生的全人发展,培养他们在课室内外都具探究精神。中学方面,英基学校采用校本设计、广泛而平均的课程,接续综合中等教育文凭 (GCSE) 课程和普通中学教育文凭 (IGCSE)资格。学生修读不同的课程,包括英文、数学、科学、人文学科、创意及表演艺术、设计科技和一种符合学生不同程度的增补语言。启新书院和智新书院均开办国际文凭组织中学课程 (MYP)。大学预科方面,大部分学生均会修读国际文凭课程 (IB Diploma)。英基修订各级课程,配合学习有困难的学生的需要,包括大学预科课程。我们的大学预科课程采用3组不同的课程模式,学生可按个别需要,为升学或就业选择最适合的课程。英基个人提名权可供家长申请,以为子女获得优先面试机会。英基提名权计划(Nomination Rights Scheme)包括个人及企业提名权方案,让符合英基学校入学要求的学生优先入读
